VRA Pays Final Respect to Former VRA Board Chairman and Chief Executive E.A.K. Kalitsi

The Volta River Authority led by Board Chairman Jabesh Amissah Arthur and Acting Chief Executive Edward E Obeng-Kenzo, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, paid final respects to former VRA Board Chairman and Chief Executive Erasmus Alexander Kwabla Kalitsi.

At a solemn, spirited filled burial service held at the Garrison Methodist Presbyterian Church in Accra, glowing tributes were read to celebrate the man who exemplified public service with integrity.

There was an outpour of love by the VRA family which comprised of current staff and past executives as well as former staff of VRA .

The man who was a foundational pioneer of VRA and was seismic in leadership for the state power producer will forever be remembered.

Rest in Peace "The Chief". You will remain in our hearts forever.
