Ing. Owura Kwaku Sarfo , 50, joined the Volta River Authority in September, 1982 as Assistant Civil Engineer and by dint of hard work, rose through the ranks and held various management positions within the Authority.
Prior to his appointment, Ing. Sarfo was the Director of Procurement of the VRA.
Ing. Sarfo holds a BSc. Civil Engineering degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, Post Graduate Certificate in Energy Economics & Finance from Colorado School of Mines, Golden , USA and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Harvard University , Cambridge , USA . He is also a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. Ing. Owura Sarfo is married with four children.
