CONSTRUCTION OF 330KV VOLTA-MOME HAGOU-SAKETE
TRANSMISSION LINE

By virtue of section 12 of the Volta River Development Act of 1961, (Act 46), section 15 of the Electricity Corporation Decree NLCD 12, 1967) and Lands (Statutory Wayleaves) Act, 1963 (Act 186) in particular, Sections 2 & 3 thereof, notice is hereby given that the Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority or any person or persons authorised by him will after one week from the date of the publication and from time to time, thereafter enter upon the lands described in the schedule and the map hereto or as near thereto as may be for the purpose of the construction of the 330 KV VOLTA – MOME HAGOU – SAKETE TRANSMISSION LINE as part of the West African Power Pool Transmission Network.

Copies of the maps showing the proposed transmission line route may be seen during working hours at the following offices as the case may be:

• Regional Co-ordinating Councils in Accra in the Greater Accra Region and Ho in the Volta Region;
• Lands Commission Secretariats in Accra and Ho;
• Tema Municipal Assembly, West Dangbe District, East Dangbe District all in the Greater Accra Region;
• North and South Tongu Districts;
• Akatsi and Ketu Districts in the Volta Region; and
• Real Estate Department, VRA, Heritage Towers , Accra .

Any person(s) having any property(ies) on the said lands described in the schedule which may be adversely affected by the exercise of the above powers is hereby required, within six (6) months from the date of this notice, to send to the Chief Executive, Volta River Authority, P. O. Box MB 77, Accra, a statement in writing signed by him/her or on his/her behalf by a lawful representative showing the particulars of his/her property including evidence thereof of the injury likely to be suffered.
